Literature review: Sexual and reproductive health and rights of girls with disabilities

We carried out a literature review on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of girls with disabilities.

The review was carried out using a scoping view methodology, and included an overview and thematic analysis of available literature, and uncovered gaps in the literature.

The overall objective of the project was to carry out a scoping review of the literature on the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of girls with disabilities.

The scoping review:

  • gave an overview of available literature published in pee r-reviewed journals after the year 2000
  • gave a summary of the thematic analysis of available literature
  • gave an overview of the geographical spread of the literature
  • uncovered gaps in the literature
