The project will create a position, velocity, and timing (PVT) proof-of-concept receiver test platform where AI algorithms for sensor fusion can be prototyped and benchmarked.

The project will investigate requirements for PVT services for autonomous vessel operations, and use of AI/ML techniques for PVT sensors fusion based on real navigation data. Derived requirements will be compared to the performance of the ARTISAN proof-of-concept prototype PVT receiver. ARTISAN will leverage current and future European Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), including EGNOS and Galileo.
