An important aspect of the activities in the Flow Assurance Center is education of highly qualified Flow Assurance personnel for the Oil & Gas industry. The center currently has plans to educate roughly 15-16 PhD students and Post Doctoral researchers in the period from 2007 to 2014. As per November 2010, the center funds 7 PhD students and 3 Post Doctoral researchers and will in the time to come educate an additional 5-6 students.
Additionally, MSc degrees may be pursued under the FACE program and thesis suggestions may be found in the column to the right. These will be updated on a regular basis, but students are also encouraged to get in touch with alternative thesis suggestions that may be relevant to the FACE program.
Interested students may contact the FACE centre manager, Kristian Sveen (jks at ife.no).
