SINTEF Manufacturing's Department of Industrial Ecosystems is a leading European research environment on product development, production management, lean, digitalization and sustainability. The research group Product and Sustainability supports a diverse range of industrial sectors with research and innovation on next generation sustainable products and value chains, circular economy and circular business models. Our aim is to extend the group with a dedicated researcher who will contribute towards the development of the sustainable products and product systems of the future.
Your Profile
We are looking for candidates with a solid analytical background, educated at university level (MSc or PhD). You have experience with Life Cycle Analysis (SimaPro, etc.) or other quantitative environmental impact assessment methodologies. Knowledge in sustainable product development, production systems, circular economy and circular business models is an advantage. You are a team player with a collaborative spirit and project implementation skills and have strong motivation to work with (applied) research in close collaboration with our customers.
Your Responsibilities
Our projects are primarily directed towards industry and its current and future challenges and opportunities related to environmental sustainability. Our researchers initiate and carry out projects in close cooperation with our customers and partners to solve contemporary challenges, as well as contributing towards the dissemination of research results in scientific and popular scientific publications.
