Large scale CO₂ transport in the North sea – a pre-feasibility study

The objective of this study was to reveal the costs and challenges related to implementation of a potential new pipeline transporting carbon dioxide (CO₂) from industrial sources located close to the northern coastline of continental Europe to the under-seabed formation located in the North Sea – basically the Utsira formation.
