Interpretation of in-situ rock stress measurement by overcoring : International Symposium on In-Situ Rock Stress, JUN 19-21, 2006, Trondheim, NORWAY

Sammendrag

The DISO (Determination of In-situ Stress by Overcoring) program was first developed at SINTEF Rock and Mineral Engineering in 1990 and has so far been applied to a great number of projects. The latest version of DISO can be used for interpreting of 3-D in-situ stress measurements by overcoring in both isotropic and transversely isotropic rock. The doorstopper measurements can also be incorporated. This paper describes the main features, theoretical basis and verification of the code. An application sample is also given.
