Extended abstracts
Template for extended abstracts

Selection of oral and poster presentations is based on extended abstracts. Abstracts (two pages, font 12) must be submitted to the Conference Secretariat by February 10, 2023 (submit through the Presentation Portal). 
The type af abstract file should be pdf and the size limit is 20MB.
Based on the evaluation by the Scientific Committee reviewers, abstracts will be accepted for oral presentation or as posters. Abstracts and presentations must have high scientific quality and be written in a non-commercial manner.
Abstracts are invited to cover elements of the entire value chain of CCS technology development (see: Objective and Scope).
Authors will be notified on acceptance by March 24, 2023.

Journal publication (optional)
Carbon Capture Science & Technology, a journal published by IChemE and Elsevier, will be publishing a special issue featuring extended versions of papers presented at TCCS 12. The journal is a gold open access journal however the publication fee will be waived for all contributions to this special issue. For more information on the journal please see

Poster Session
The poster must be in portrait orientation, A0 format. All posters shall be in English.
Please print your poster and bring it to the conference.
There will be a "Poster registration desk" at the venue just outside the Auditoria R8 and R9. Please register your poster upon arrival.
We expect you to put up your posters during the morning of 20 June. You should be at the stand during the poster session, but keep your poster up for display during the whole conference to allow the participants to look at them during breaks.
There is a poster award for best content and best presentation. The winner will be announced during the closing session of the conference. The selection will be done by a review committee. The committee will consider relevance, originality, scientific content and presentation.
