- Monday:

- 09:15-10:45: All participants present themselves:
- Each participant has 3 minutes
- Everybody must bring one slide that is to be copied and handed out to all the other participants
- 15:00-18:30: Introduction to parallel computing by Aslak Tveito
- Tuesday:
- Programming of parallel computers by Xing Cai and Tor Sørevik
- OpenMP
- MPI
- Wednesday:
- 09:00-10:30: Introduction to domain decomposition by K-A Lie
- 15:00-18:30: More about domain decomposition: theory / programming, by Xing Cai
- Thursday:
- 09:00-10:30: Beowulf clustres by Åsmund Ødegård
- 15:00-18:30: We will build three Linux clustres by Åsmund Ødegård
The participants will be grouped in three, and each group will build a small cluster with 3x2 processors.- Friday:

All lectures will be in English. Copies of slides and relevant background material will be handed out at Geilo. In addition, some material will be made available electronically after the winter school.
