Manufacturing Technology Norwegian Catapult Centre (MTNC) is a so-called catapult or testing center where industrial companies can test new technology and new solutions. The center is lead by SINTEF Raufoss Manufacturing on behalf of NCE Raufoss.
Integrated Airport Management (SESAR PJ 28 IAO)
Project PJ 28, A Very Large Demonstration (VLD) project, will demonstrate the benefits that specific promising SESAR solutions will bring in a large and two mid-size airports, where traffic congestion daily takes place during the peak season and where new SESAR solutions are expected to assist controllers in their duty.
Controller Working Position (SESAR PJ 16 CWP)
The project aims to reduce development and operating costs of air navigation service provision.
Content Integration (SESAR PJ 19 CI)
The project aims to generate a consolidated big picture of the future European ATM system – the SESAR 2020 Concept of Operations, high-level architecture options, services and the associated performance results.
Essential and Efficient Communication Navigation and Surveillance Integrated Systems (SESAR PJ 14 EECNS)
The project aims to specify and develop the future technologies coming from the CNS domains in order to support and manage the operational services, like the 4D trajectory management, in the future ATM system.
Remote Tower (SESAR PJ 05)
The project proposes the development of a remotely provided aerodrome air traffic service by a "multiple" and/or "centre" setting. Those settings help to combine ATS services from various aerodromes in a centralized control room independent on airport location in order to make use of the valuable resource ATS provider more efficiently.
Total Airport Management (SESAR PJ 04 TAM)
The project is articulated around two SESAR Solutions, emphasising all of the key airport processes. Integration of airports into the ATM network will be addressed through sharing information in a timely manner between the network operations plan and the individual AOPs using SWIM technology.
Integrated Surface Management (SESAR PJ 03a SUMO)
The future European ATM system relies on full integration of airports as nodes into the network. In this context, the integrated surface management project (PJ.03a) aims to identify and validate operational and technological solutions aiming at enhancing airport operations.
