The use of innovative nanomaterials with favorable properties must be seen in correlation with the related environmental-, health and security concerns. Together with our research partners, SINTEF is working on developing systems and methods to increase the knowledge of the effect of nanomaterials on the environment and health of people. This knowledge is essential for assuring the safe use of nanomaterials.
