SINTEF Digital Human Factor
Human factor is about understanding the interplay between technology, humans, and society. We use this knowledge to develop and evaluate computer systems suited to the needs and requirements of humans and society.
The vision of Sharing Neighbourhoods is digitalization towards a socially inclusive and caring neighbourhood. We will investigate the effects of digital collaborative sharing platforms on the social interactions in neighbourhoods, and the new economic models that these platforms enable in the neighbourhoods.
The research project CPS Plant will develop a framework for the Norwegian approach for the digital manufacturing industry. The consortium consists of 3 Norwegian industry partners, Norsk Hydro, Benteler Automotive and Hycast, and SINTEF Digital and NTNU (Trondheim and Gjovik) are the academic partners. SINTEF Raufoss Manufacturing is the project leader.
