Senior Research Scientist at Dept. of Electric Power Engineering. Experience with condition assessment, technology development and transmission capacity in power components and grids. Do research on partial discharge (PD) measurements under AC and fast rising voltages (PWM), material degradation, electro-thermal calculations (ampacity), soil physics and measurement technology for hydropower, power grids, aviation and industry.

Master of Science in Electronics from NTNU in 2007, main profile Physical Electronics.

PhD in Electronics from NTNU in 2011 on nanofabrication, x-ray diffraction, (scanning) tunneling electron microscopy (TEM/STEM). Thesis title " Interface effects in PbTiO3 thin films and nanostructures : a transmission electron microscopy study"
