Odd Andersen

Senior Research Scientist

Odd Andersen is a senior researcher in the Applied Computational Science research group. Research interests includes numerical simulation of fluid flow and mechanics in porous media, with applications to CO2 storage, geothermal energy, and surface/subsurface water. He is a core developer of the MATLAB Reservoir Simulation Toolbox (MRST) open-source software, co-responsible for the CO2DataShare data portal, and member of the corporate venture working group on climate-positive technologies.

Education

Ingenieur (Masters), INSA Toulouse, 2001
PhD, applied mathematics, Univ. of Bergen, 2017
