The NorLight conference 2003

The NorLight conference 2003 (Norlight konferansen 2003) took place in Trondheim January 27-28 2003. The conference gathered 180 participants from Norwegian industry, researchers from SINTEF and NTNU and students with interest for materials technology and light metals. The NorLight conference 2003 pointed towards materials technology and light metals– technological and social considerations for the future. What are the challenges and what do we do to meet them? Politicians, the industry, researchers and a student discussed this.

The conference also presented status for the NorLight program – results and their industrial consequences after 2 years work. This was done both through overview presentations, more detailed to the point lectures and through a broad poster-session. PDF-version of presentations from Day 2 (NorLight – results and industrial consequences) and posters are presented here.
