CityExplorer opens the way to the FP7 IST EU project TAG CLOUD
TAG CLOUD is a FP7 IST EU project with the goal to increase user engagement in cultural activities. SINTEF, the Sør Trøndelag County Authority and the Museums in Sør Trøndelag will develop and set up a Norwegian trial.
The development of City Explorer in UbiCompForAll has been a starting point for SINTEF to explore the culture application domain. City Explorer provides flexible support for discovering different facets of the city, including cultural resources. Together with the Sør Trøndelag County Authority that have the responsibility of cultural heritage in the County and the Museums in Sør Trøndelag, SINTEF decided to join the TAG CLOUD consortium. The TAG CLOUD proposal got the high score of 15 (out of 15) during evaluation!
