8th Trondheim Conference on CO2 Capture, Transport and Storage

The 8th "Trondheim Conference on CO2 Capture, Transport and Storage" was held June 16 - 18, 2015, in Trondheim, Norway. The conference was organized by BIGCCS – International CCS Research Centre under auspices of NTNU and SINTEF.

The bi-annual conference has since its start in 2003 grown to become one of the leading scientific CCS technology conferences, and represents an important meeting place for CCS experts from all over the world. This time 350 participants from 26 countries were offered a high quality technical program consisting of 10 keynote lectures, 138 oral (in six parallel sessions) and 101 poster presentations. At the Conference, the "SINTEF and NTNU CCS Award" was presented for the third time. The winner of the 2015 Award was Professor Gary T. Rochelle of University of Texas at Austin. More about the award winner can be found here.
