Feasibility studies of industry cases - WP3
The aim of work package (WP) 3 in NORDICCS is to coordinate integrated CCS cases in the Nordic countries and assess their feasibility.

So far, selection criteria used for selecting the cases are presented, and a number of cases have been identified based on these criteria.

When capture, transport and storage possibilities in the region have been analysed by wp 4,5,6, complete CCS chains will be suggested based on, among others, the following criteria;

a)   
Emission sources will be chosen from all the Nordic countries and include industry relevant for the region

b)   
Suggested capture technology at individual sites will be based on analysis of several capture technologies”.

c)   
Suggested CCS chains will assess several storage and transport options including transport method (ship versus pipeline, both onshore and offshore)

Based on these criteria several CCS chains will be identified and selected for detailed investigation. At this point in the project the following CCS chains have been identified, see Table 1, and as the project continues more are likely to be developed
