2006: Finite Element Method

Sixth Winter School in Computational Mathematics, Geilo, March 5-10, 2006

The topics of the sixth school are: (i) Automating the Finite Element Method, and (ii) Turbulent Flow Simulation. The winter school lasts one week from Sunday to Friday before lunch and consists of 26 lectures, 45 minutes each. The lecturers are:

  • Johan Hoffman, NADA, Royal Institute of Technology KTH, Stockholm
  • Anders Logg, Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago

Scientific committee: Aslak Tveito and Bjørn Fredrik Nielsen (Simula Research Laboratory) and Knut-Andreas Lie (SINTEF / CMA, UiO).
