Ashes is software code developed by Simis AS which is a spin-out from NOWITECH.
The CEO and founder of Simis, Paul Thomassen, is a former post doc with NTNU, and has received financial support from CIC for commercialization.
Ashes is a software that performs integrated analyses of onshore and offshore wind turbines. Since the beginning, a main focus for Ashes has been to provide the best user experience possible while at the same time still producing excellent numerical results.
