Net-Op network optimization - TRL3
Net-Op is a Matlab toolbox for automated clustering of wind farms and offshore grid layout optimisationof, developed by SINTEF Energy Research.
Net-Op is used to identify economically sound grid connection alternatives for offshore wind. It is useful in an early strategic planning phase, enabling cost reductions by allowing timely and sound grid planning.
Expert software that can be used as service for industry on a project basis. Incorporated in the EERA-DTOC WindEco software. Use and maintenance, but no further development is currently planned.
