Generative interviewing
These co-generative dialogues aim at fostering energy and enthusiasm towards current and future work practices as well as opening up for new possibilities to arise and develop.
Within the tradition of Positive Organizational Scholarship research attends to the forces that creates positive deviance. In using interview methods that diverge from the normal questioning of “what is not working here?” we pry into sources of deep engagement, pride and desired futures.
In the project partner company Snøhetta these semi-structured, flexible and generative dialogues about everyday idea work experiences prompted a strong sense of identity and enthusiasm for the architect’s specific ways of working with ideas.
