Idea Work was a research project that set out to understand and professionalise the way ideas are created, combined, prioritised and implemented in organisations.

The project partners were Thommessen, Snøhetta, Statoil, Point Carbon and Sparebank 1. Leading international research groups in USA, Australia and England were involved in the project, which resulted in several publications and extended media coverage. The project was co-sponsored by the Research Council of Norway and finalised in 2011.
