Intermodal Solutions for Competitive Transport in Serbia
The IMOD-X project will evaluate possibilities for organising intermodal transport in Serbia and develop both economic and technical concepts for organisation of the competitive intermodal transport services.
In this way, the project will contribute to the development of transport services and bring Serbia closer to the European standards in the transport sector.
The overall project objective is to contribute to the development of transport services and economy in Serbia. This will be achieved by fulfilling three specific objectives:
- Identifying needs and requirements for development of the competitive intermodal transport services
- Developing economic and technical concepts for development of the competitive intermodal transport services taking account of the current EU transport standards
- Technology transferring and capacity building at the Serbian Ministry of Capital Investments and the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade.
The recipient of the project is the Serbian Ministry of Capital Investments.
