Productivity and Project Management

In both the private and public sector, (at least) two trends are obvious; most organizations become more and more project-focused and increasingly stringent productivity requirements are posed for long-term survival. Our basic vision is to conduct research and consulting on how organizations can improve their competitiveness, in a sustainable manner.
Competence

By productivity, which is really a rather old-fashioned word that should be replaced by performance, we think of sub-areas like process orientation, performance measurement, different improvement tools, self-assessment, etc., all geared toward a higher level of performance and improved competitiveness for the organization. The result is increased value-added, more satisfied customers, and a more secure future for the enterprise and the employment of its co-workers.

By project management, we really think of a wider concept than the traditional project planning (network design, cost estimation, and progress control). Project management also involves project organization, execution philosophies, contract types, uncertainty management, life cycle analysis, etc. This will contribute to the selection of the right projects, that they are initiated and planned in a sound manner, and that they are executed in an effective and robust way.

Projects

We are involved in a portfolio of very exciting projects, for example:

- Counteracting stress and burnout in project
  organizations
- Punctuality in the rail road
- Process analyses for design of the new St. Olavs
  Hospital
- Productivity and logistics in construction projects
