Objectives:

Investigate the response of a capillary trap to time-varying oil influx rate, and compare with predictions from the theory about hysteresis effects when the oil rate varies.

Investigate the response of a capillary trap to time-varying composition of the influx oil, and quantify how density and interfacial tension changes affect entering and leakage behaviour.

Investigate the capillary entering and leakage out of a stratigraphic trap.
