The Norwegian GIS User Group deals with issues related to operation and maintenance of the 90+ GIS installed in the Norwegian 145, 300 and 420 kV power transmission grids. The group was established in 1991, and among its around 25 member companies are electric utilities, GIS manufactureres and other companies offering products and services for GIS.
