Projects

GOVREP – Governance for Renewable Electricity Production.
GOVREP is a research project being carried out under the auspices of CEDREN (Centre for Environmental Design of Renewable Energy). GOVREP is a multidisciplinary research project with its major focus directed towards the governance of energy and environmental policies, and the interaction between the two. The aim of the project is to find out how different systems of governance within these policy areas influence the promotion of electricity generation from renewable sources.

LinkS – Linking global and regional energy Strategies
LinkS is a four-year research project funded primarily by the Research Council of Norway as part of the RENERGI programme. The aim of the project is to develop an integrated decision-making model to promote more sustainable energy infrastructure, which can be used both in industry and by the authorities.

The role of the North Sea
'The role of the North Sea’ is a two-year research project (2010-11) mainly financed by the Norwegian Research Council (RENERGI programme). The goal of the project is to describe and analyse a realistic scenario for off-shore energy production and distribution, based on an off-shore grid system in the North Sea, by 2020.

Sustainable Grid Development (SusGrid)
SusGrid is an interdisciplinary research project focusing on how knowledge of economic, social and environmental interests can provide good and predictable processes related to formal processing of grid development projects. It is a research project under the auspices of CEDREN (Center for Environmental Design of Renewable Energy).
