LinkS – Linking global and regional energy Strategies
LinkS is a four-year research project funded primarily by the Research Council of Norway as part of the RENERGI programme. The aim of the project is to develop an integrated decision-making model to promote more sustainable energy infrastructure, which can be used both in industry and by the authorities.
Sustainable Grid Development (SusGrid)
SusGrid is an interdisciplinary research project focusing on how knowledge of economic, social and environmental interests can provide good and predictable processes related to formal processing of grid development projects. It is a research project under the auspices of CEDREN
(Center for Environmental Design of Renewable Energy).
GOVREP – Governance for Renewable Electricity Production.
GOVREP is a research project being carried out under the auspices of CEDREN (Centre for Environmental Design of Renewable Energy). GOVREP is a multidisciplinary research project with its major focus directed towards the governance of energy and environmental policies, and the interaction between the two. The aim of the project is to find out how different systems of governance within these policy areas influence the promotion of electricity generation from renewable sources.
The role of the North Sea

The goal of the project is to describe and analyse a realistic scenario for off-shore energy production and distribution, based on an off-shore grid system in the North Sea, by 2020.
Renewable energy policy making in the EU - The role of Norwegian stakeholders
Evaluation and analysis on how Norwegian stakeholders aim to influence and monitor decisions made by the EU regarding increased efforts to promote renewable energy, particularly via the new Renewables Directive. The project resultet in the following report: "Renewable energy policy making in the EU: What has been the role of Norwegian stakeholders?" av Audun Ruud og Jørgen K. Knudsen (TR A6860.pdf).
A consolidated exploitation of renewable energy (Styrket realisering av fornybar energi)
Our task was to draw on know-how from Denmark and Sweden by taking as our starting point actual conditions as experienced by the energy project owners themselves, together with their views on regulatory and policy frameworks to relaize increased production of renewable energy. The client was the Norwegian Electricity Industry Association (EBL).
