Renewable Energy System Laboratory

The Renewable Energy System Laboratory is well equipped with component and control for research related to smart grids and renewable generation.

It is suitable for studying different grid configurations, hybrid ac/dc networks, offshore grids and grid connection issues regarding small hydro power plants and wind generation. It is suitable for research topics with focus on electrical machines, power electronics converters and converter control, as well as on protection and system control solutions.
