Projects

Our project portfolio consists of fundamental research projects funded by both national and

international (EU) funding agencies in addition to industrial funded research projects and internal strategic competence projects. We have strong international cooperation in many of the projects we are involved in, both at an academic and an industry level.

Some of our ongoing projects are described below:

  • FCTEDI – Fuel Cell Testing and Dissemination
  • HyLift - DEMO - European demonstration of hydrogen powered fuel cell forklifts
  • HyPilot - Survey and recommendations on research infrastructure needs for hydrogen technologies
  • H2MovesScandinavia / H2MovesOslo - Demonstration of hydrogen fuelled road vehicles and refuelling infrastructure
  • KeePEMalive - Knowledge to enhance the endurance of PEM fuel cells by accelerated lifetime verification experiments
  • Nanoduramea - Synthesis and durability of CNT based MEAs for PEMFC
  • NEXPEL - Next generation PEM electrolyser for sustainable hydrogen production
  • NORCOAT – Nordic Initiative for Low Cost Fuel Cell Bipolar Plate Coatings
  • NORPEM – Development and demonstration of an efficient cost competitive PEMFC system for the cold Nordic climate
  • NORWAYS – Providing decision support for the introduction of hydrogen to the Norwegian energy system
  • PEMWE – Developing next generation low cost and durable PEM-water electrolysers
  • PreparH2 - Preparing socio and economic evaluations of future hydrogen lighthouse projects
  • RAMSES, High Temp. Fuel Cells
  • STAYERS, Stationary PEM fuel cells with lifetimes beyond five years
  • Thermal Effects in Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells
