Structural Engineering

The department has specialised in development of advanced methods and computational tools for structural analysis, design and operation of marine structures. A unique combination of theoretical know- ledge, extensive laboratory facilities and engineering experience is our basis. Work is carried out in close cooperation with NTNU Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology, Div. of Marine Structures.
Competence

The department's activity area includes fixed and floating platforms, risers and umbilicals, pipelines and ship structures.
