This is largely a result of the fact that we are increasingly abandoning the idea of regarding logistics activities as a necessary cost, in favour of seeing logistics solutions as a potential means of achieving a competitive advantage over competitors. This development has led to a growing need for efficient means of analysing existing solutions and, on the basis of these analyses, as well as knowledge of best practice, being able to rapidly suggest new and more efficient solutions.
MARINTEK has gained wide practical experience of performing studies of this type.
