Background
Sverre Briseid received his Cand Scient degree from the University of Oslo in 2001, with Operator Algebras as his main research area. Shortly thereafter he joined the Geometry group at SINTEF Applied Mathematics. Working at SINTEF he has been involved in several EU projects as well as maintaining and developing the CAD libraries SISL and GoTools. Since 2008 he has been a PhD student within the field of heterogeneous computing.
Research Interests
His research interests include geometric modelling, mostly using splines as the geometric representation. He is also interested in the use of heterogeneous computers for speeding up geometric algorithms.
