Background
Dr. Runar Holdahl has worked as a research scientist at SINTEF ICT, Department of Applied Mathematics since 2003. He is educated at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) with a MSc (siv.ing) and PhD (dr.ing) in industrial mathematics (numerical analysis).
Research Interests
His main research focus is computational fluid dynamics (CFD), multiphysics problems and parallel computing. Previously he has been involved in projects related to fluid-structure interaction (FSI), flow around marine structures, discrete element methods (DEM) and multiphase flow in pipelines.
Now he is involved in projects related to isogeometric analysis.
