Background

Dr. Knut Morten Okstad has been active in computational mechanics since 1990. He is educated at the Norwegian Institute of Technology (now NTNU) with a MSc (siv.ing) and PhD (dr.ing) in structural engineering. He also holds a MSc degree in civil engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Troy, NY, USA.

Research Interests

His research interests are finite element solution procedures for solving partial differential equations. He is currently involved in the development of a finite element toolbox for Isogeometric analysis.
