Background
Dr. Christian Schulz is a post doctorate fellow in the Collab project at SINTEF ICT. He got his degree in computer science at the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany) and did his PhD at the University of Oslo (Norway) in the field of Geometric Modelling.
Research Interests
Christian Schulz's current research interest is related to the use of modern computer graphics hardware in non-graphic, scientific settings. Modern general purpose GPUs are programmable and as part of the Collab project its possibilities regarding the use in vehicle routing problems are examined.
