Background
Atgeirr Flø Rasmussen has been a research scientist at SINTEF since 1998. He holds a M.Sc. degree in industrial mathematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He also holds a PhD in applied mathematics from the University of Oslo (UiO).
Research Interests
Atgeirr's current research interests are simulation in porous media, streamline methods, numerical software development, and geometric analysis. He is involved in the Open Porous Media Initiative, which aims to produce an open-source simulation software suite for porous media simulation.
