We specialize in the development of advanced robotics systems and in total 12 full time researchers are involved in this activity. The main application areas are process industry, marine systems, manufacturing, health care and oil and gas industry. The department collaborates with industrial engineering companies and robot suppliers in addition to the end-users. The research scientists work in close collaboration with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
