Final report from the Nordic project called Harmonization of fire classification in the Nordic countries is just completed.
The project was funded by Nordisk InnovationsCenter (NICe, see http://www.nordicinnovation.net/).

The report deals with the fire resistance requirements for various construction products in the Nordic countries, as well as recommendations to how these requirements may be coordinated. This is important basic information when the building code is revised.

The title of the report is The use of fire classification in the Nordic countries – Proposals for harmonization .
The Norwegian participants were Vidar Stenstad from the National Office of Building Technology and Administration, and Anne Steen-Hansen from SINTEF NBL.
