How to get to Geilo?

The easiest way to get to Geilo is by train on the Oslo-Bergen line. You must make your own travel arrangements. We recommend use of the travel planner at the NSB website

The first introductory lectures start on Sunday afternoon at 16:30, so that you can catch the morning trains from Oslo/Bergen. The last lecture ends before lunch on Friday, which leaves you with plenty of time to catch a train back to Oslo/Bergen. If you arrive from abroad via Gardermoen on Saturday, we recommend you to book a hotel in Oslo from Saturday to Sunday, since hotel rooms at Geilo are hard to get during the weekend.
