Abstract
Over a time-period of just five years, the Norwegian leisure boat cluster has initiated cooperative innovation projects in excess of 130 million NOK. The companies’ drive for innovation, improvement, perfection and their inquisitiveness have spurred them on towards developing an extensive portfolio of Research and Development projects.
Cooperation has been key in order to achieve the sought after results.
This book presents the main partners in the cluster project and provides examples of ongoing projects ranging from shopfloor improvements to material technology, adaptive new platforms for boat-building, simulators and use of new technologies.
