DAT4.Zero - The Future of Zero-Defect Manufacturing

DAT4.Zero ("Data 4.0") will improve the European Manufacturing Industry. The project researches ways to achieve zero-defect manufacturing in smart factories.

Project summary

DAT4.ᴢᴇʀᴏ is a project with 20 partners, funded by the European Union. The project will help revolutionize manufacturing by giving European companies tools to succeed in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Factories will become more autonomous by using AI and data to improve manufacturing.

Project goals:

  • Achieve Zero Defect Manufacturing: Data-driven robotics and AI ensure high quality production.
  • Reduce ramp-up time: "Ramp-up" is the time from product development to maximal production.
  • Decrease time-to-market: Products will be produced and delivered quicker.

Industrial use cases

The industrial use cases are where the technologies of DAT4.Zero are developed and tested in real-world production. Participating companies include Benteler, Bosch, DentsplySirona, ENKI and FERSA.
