SFI Manufacturing newsletter 3

Published 20 November 2017

The 30th and 31st of October we've had the SFI Manufacturing autumn workshop in Nordfjord, with Brødrene Aa as host organization. Prior to this workshop, we published the third SFI newsletter, which focused on the research area Multi-Material Products and Processes.

Within SFI Manufacturing we've started to investigate the joining process Cold Metal Transfer. The illustration above shows the basic principles of Cold Metal Transfer technology. In the newsletter you can find more information on this topic. Illustration: SINTEF Materials and Chemistry

The work is lead by Einar Hinrichsen in SINTEF Materials and Chemistry. In the newsletter you can find an update on the research we are doing.
