SINTEF Ocean contributes extensively to development of international standards within navigation and radiocommunication (IEC TC80), more general ship technology (ISO TC8), digital commerce (IMO and ISO TC8). Mr. Ørnulf Jan Rødseth is also the chairman of the Norwegian mirror committee to IEC TC80, NK80.
