Improving industrial energy efficiency

Improving industrial energy efficiency is the cheapest, most effective and least politically controversial way of achieving sustainable energy consumption in the future.

According to the IEA (International Energy Agency), improving energy efficiency must account for more than 50% of the measures needed to win the battle against global warming. This means that improving energy efficiency is the most important means we have of mitigating climate change in our time!

We work within these areas:

Our main focus is directed towards the improvement of energy efficiency and the exploitation/conversion of waste heat using heat pump technologies based on natural work media. The work is divided into the following fields:

  • Electricity production from surplus heat
  • High-temperature heat pump technology
  • Storage of thermal energy
  • Refrigeration
  • Thermal processing
