Annett Thøgersen is a senior scientist at SINTEF in Oslo. Her background is materials physics, with a focus on investigating material properties using transmission electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Her focus has been on materials related to renewable energy, such as solar cells and batteries. She has over 50 scientific publications with 1000 citations, and a h-index of 18. She was also awarded a Young Research Talents Research Grant in 2013 from NFR.
