SINTEF Digital conducts research and innovation in digital technologies and technology-oriented social sciences. Our multi-disciplinary knowledge base is used across all industries and helps our customers exploit and meet the opportunities created by deep tech, digitalization and digital transformation.

In the Research Council's national evaluation of the fields of Mathematics, ICT, and Technology (EVALMIT) in the spring of 2025, we were highlighted as one of the flagship Administrative Units (AUs) in Norway.

Over the years, we have produced success stories and demonstrable impact through our research, as the Research Council's report also points out: "Impact creation is intrinsic to SINTEF Digital's business". 

Undeniably, SINTEF Digital is leading nationally in its specific technical areas, research market niche and domains of social responsibility
