In SATS laboratories, hot and cold climates can be simulated and equipment tested either energized or de-energized. Various environmental stress factors, such as UV radiation, salt deposits, ice etc. can also be added.

Tests can be carried out according to IEC 60694, 61299, 60137 and the 62271 series of standards, as well as client's requirements.

Temperature range -55 OC to + 70 OC
Humidity  Up to 90 % RH at + 40 OC
Room sizes Cylindrical test hall: Ø 18 m, h 23 m; -10  to +40 OC 
Climate chambers 3 x 3 x 5m ; -55 OC to +70 OC
Voltage feeds Up to 1050 kV AC; 1200 kV DC
