SATS member labs offer a wide range of dielectric testing facilities, both for circuit breakers and cables.

Test capabilities include:

AC voltage   Up to 1050 kV, 1.5 A, 50 Hz
Series resonance test systems 1600 kV, 6.5 A; 600kV, 60 A; 220kV, 400 A
Lightning impulse voltage 3600 kV, 450 kJ
Switching impulse voltage 2300 kV 
DC voltage 2100 kV, 10mA; 1200 kV, 300mA
Partial Discharge According to IEC 60270 and several other methods
Radio Interference Voltage (RIV)  According to IEC and ANSI/IEEE standards
