The objective is to identify solutions that have potential of reducing costs, increasing transmission length, increasing power transmission capability and/or increasing system reliability.

By use of simulations, this task will demonstrate new or improved system solutions for powering subsea processing, flow assurance and control systems. The work will be focused on solving technical obstacles and limitations identified in task 1 and on finding means to handle undesired phenomena identified in task 2.

Possibilities of improvements might be identified in topology, component design and in the control philosophy.
