The objective is to incorporate and make use of relevant project results in guidelines for design and verification of transmission and distribution power systems of subsea installations. It will be focused on highlighting necessary tests, as well as analysis and simulation verifications needed to ensure a reliable design.

The task will also evaluate existing relevant IEC/ISO standards and if necessary give recommendations for modifications in order to better cover the distinctive characteristics of subsea power supply systems.

Possible extension (has to be approved by the Steering Committee): The task will also evaluate methodology, including analysis tools and simulation programs when required or appropriate.
